Problems with the Options dialog box
If you are running the retail version of Windows 95, you may find that the display of the Options dialog box (accessed from the Tools menu) is garbled. The tabs of this dialog may contain garbage, and may be scrolled off the screen. Selecting different tabs could cause an Illegal Operation.

This problem occurs because of an incorrect DLL (ComCtl32.DLL) that is shipped by Microsoft with a version of Internet Explorer. A fix from Microsoft is available in the file Com32Upd.exe. For your convenience, we have placed a copy of this file here.

To fix the problem, click on the above link to download Com32Upd.exe, then run this program.
